Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998 in Los Angeles California) is an American actress, singer and voice actor. Ariel began her acting career in the early years of her life. The actress was in an Cool Whip ad when she was only six. Her first TV role at age 7 appearing in an episode of the CBS show Listen Up!. Her subsequent roles included Monk Bones, ER and various other television series. Gretchen was her character in the year 2007 on Disney's Original Channel's cartoon show Phineas and Ferb. Her breakout part in live action was the following year as Alex Dunphy of the hit television series Modern Family.
