Luciana was brought up at home in Rome through her father and mother. Luciana's father was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian military officer. Her mother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was once one of Benito Mussolini's lover's wives. There is no information available on having siblings. Luciana is the only female who has graduated from her high school class from Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering at the time. Within two years she launched her career as a model but that all changed when she was offered her first acting job by chance while she was visiting her father's friend in Rome her first role was a small two-line part in Three Coins in the Fountain and that was when it all began. Her first marriage was with Brett Halsey who is also an actor. The couple made Return to the Peyton Palace in the year 1960, after having married. Luciana had custody of Charles, born 13 June 1961. The couple split the following year. Luciana had a long-term relationship with Tony Athony. He was who was a film actor and actor. Tony was influenced by her role as Green Slime in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
